Presented for the 4th Low Lives international festival of live performance, a 5 minute dance solo choreographed to coincide, line by line, with the aural attributes of a single poem by Romanian collaborator Andra Rotaru. The poem, read in Romanian by Rotaru, was itself written in engagement with Tyree’s dance work during Rotaru’s CEC ArtsLink residency in Portland, Oregon (Nov. 2011). The performance was broadcast live around within the context of Low Lives 4.
